This is the right instinct and most people do the exact opposite, upload everything then read terms after.
The one I'd add: check whether the company behind it is actually findable. A real address, a parent company, a support channel that answers. The sweeps model already isn't regulated like a real-money state, so the operator's own reputation is basically all the protection you've got. If I can't even tell who runs it, I'm not sending my driver's license.
