Noticed a couple of the sweeps sites pushed updated terms this year and I think it's worth talking through since it hits how we cash out.
The big one I'm seeing in 2026: stricter KYC on the FIRST redemption. A few are now asking for ID, a selfie, and a proof of address upfront before they'll release any SC, even small amounts. Used to be you could redeem 50 SC and only get verified later. Now they want it before the first dollar moves.
Also seeing redemption minimums creep. One I use moved gift cards from 10 SC to 25 SC.
None of this changes the legal picture for Texas. Still no regulated online casinos here, sweeps are the grey-zone at-home route, and the no-purchase-necessary path still exists. Just means more paperwork before your first ACH lands.
Anyone else hit the new verification wall this year? Did it slow your payout down? Play responsibly, keep it to what you can afford to lose.
